The Summer Recreation Program is a
program offered by the Trumbull Community
Action Program (TCAP) to allow the low income children of the area to
participate in a
beneficial, fun experience. The program runs for
six weeks throughout the summer. The daily events included classroom tutoring, local community speakers, gym/ outdoor
recreation, and many other activities. TCAP provides
breakfast and lunch for the children participating in the program.
Parents, or guardians, of the children are responsible for
transportation to and from TCAP on a daily basis. Daily schedules may
vary according to trips planned for the children. The weekly schedules
will be posted below and will also be given to the child's parent/ guardian.
No fees will be charged to the parents/
guardians of the children who participate in the program.

Weekly trip to the Warren Public Library

Trip to the Fish hatchery at Pymatuning State Park in Linesville, PA

Great Lakes Science Center

Gateway Clipper cruise with the Pirates of the Mon by Gemini Theater
Company to try and conquer the three rivers.
